Bridges Over Troubled Water

What’s better than Earth Day with friends? Earth Day with friends, wine, covered bridges, and great food!

Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper, in partnership with Susquehanna Life Magazine, presents the first “Bridges Over Troubled Water,” a one-day motorbus tour of the watershed to covered bridges and local vineyards. Along the way, we’ll learn about some of the environmental concerns in the river valley while being coached in wine-tasting skills. We’ll be treated to the home-made goodies of Salty & Baked, and we’ll nurture our brain cells and our bellies at Le Jeune Chef at Penn College, where we’ll engage in a learning lunch focused on food and wine pairing. And all of this for a good cause – to support the work of your Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper – and, of course, our Earth.

Seating is limited to just 55 people and tickets are going fast!

To reserve your seat on the bus and your place at the table, please contact Carol at 570-768-6300 or midsusriver@gmail.com

Living every day as Earth Day –

Accepted nominees will become certified Conservation Ambassadors through attending one of five 5-day residential summer field schools which will focus on white-tailed deer, bass, brook trout, ruffed grouse, and turkey.
